The Gates of Hell Released

Crimson Worlds Prequel #3:  The Gates of Hell Now Available

The Gates of Hell at Amazon

For my Nook readers (and I love you guys...there's a ton of you out there!), B&N is having a technical issue that is preventing the upload of new manuscripts.  They are working on it, and as soon as it is corrected, the novella will be available on BN.

It should also be available on Kobo and Smashwords shortly.

The Gates of Hell

Elias Holm is the Commandant of the Marine Corps, a hero who has fought a hundred battles all across human-occupied space. He's led massive armies in the greatest battles ever fought in space. But once he was only a captain, thrust into command when a crucial operation went horribly wrong.

The Second Frontier War had raged for a decade. Throughout human-occupied space, worlds were in ruins, the battlegrounds of the Superpowers' eternal struggle. The climactic battle would be fought on the planet Persis, and Holm would have to fight not only the Caliphate's elite Janissary soldiers, but treachery and betrayal from his own government.

The Gates of Hell is not a full length novel - it is a prequel novella set in the Crimson Worlds universe.

This one has bounced around a bit in release dates as I tried to get other projects done first.  The prequel novellas actually take me much longer to complete on a per word basis.  Since they are set before the Crimson Worlds novels and tell the backstory on many of the characters, it is a much slower writing process.

I had originally intended the prequel novellas to be a trilogy (now complete), but the reviews and feedback have been so strong, I may do more.  I've gotten a bunch of emails asking for backstory on different characters, and I always listen to all of you.  So you will probably see some more of these prequels in the future.  If there are any of the other characters you want to see profiled in one of these novellas, send me an email and let me know.
